the clouds
gathered
thickenednoxious.
with a war-cry akin to those who kill for sport,
lightning clashed beneath the forgiving sun
thunder boomed in retort,
and so there was a storm greater than
the anxiousun had ever seen
both thunder
and lightning
filled the unfortunate air below their storm cloud
s and SHOOK door-frames
from
loose-and-rusting
hinges-to
failure.
sun pleaded from far within its warmth for
thunderandlightning to witness all those below
Once you were flawless like
Porcelain and brightly lit;
Fiery, roaring and smooth.
So few were imperfections until
Grace and faux-divinity lifted.
Age placed and cracks formed upon
Once flawless skin; Sprawling and
Dreadful.
Such beautiful light, I once viewed,
Fled in a morose flash out every crease;
As few blossoms fell and calloused over,
I wept for your inopportune plight.
How in awe I was, at your beauty;
How horrified I have become,
At it's permanent absence.
Toes cling to grass and ground.
I dance and parade about;
Winds distinct cadence speaks in a hush,
It murmurs "Worry not".
Spread the spoils of your tales,
Your implausible troubles.
Plant the seeds of content and caring
About this valley and frolic as the flowers do.
Dress every instance and step as happiness.
Crumble boundaries and fears,
For naught be so closed.
Sudden impact was such a wonder so,
Collision doth meet where grass and flowers grow.
Bare bodies and bruises,
Place somber sounds upon settled minds as
Whoosh of wind clings smiles and petals to
Every place we met and lost one another.
(I love)d (you)
Because I considered you
To be the "Most human"
Human I had ever met.
No matter the day,
(I love)d (you) all the same.
No matter your mood,
(I love)d (you) all the same.
It didn't matter if you had
Cried all day, or didn't cry at all;
It didn't matter if you
Were stressed because of your family
Or tired from all the work,
(I love)d (you) all the same.
(I love)d (you) when you screeched in delight
At your favorite tv show,
Or band.
(I love)d (you) when you were sobbing over
That book I love,
Sobbing over how the ending "Wasn't fair".
(I love)d (you) for not liking my favorite band.
(I love you) for being there, and for not.
If someone came to me
And offered me a chance to erase you,
And all the bad that came with,
I would refuse.
You were a lesson
That I have learned from
And will continue to learn from
For the rest of my life.
I saw you today.
Part of me wanted to
And the other,
Dreaded it.
Like the pain from the
Most beautiful broken bone,
You cascaded into my mind
And pained my thoughts.
In every sense,
You became the embodiment
Of so much torment,
And even more love.
Section by section,
In every millimeter,
My soul ached.
I was set ablaze
And found I had no feasible
Way of extinguishing myself
Anymore.
Our hands intertwined like adders pitching poison poses
Glancing desperate, gray advances toward one another
Your fingers trace my aging palms and shivers trickle down my spine
My senses acute and eyes ablaze
With passion sprawling smooth like clay
Our tongues do dance with serpent poise
And flicker quick like abating rays
Our sighs are slow as to not make noise
As if someone may hear passed two car doors
Still we try to make the moment last
I click the handle, the cold rolls in
Blinding headlights shrink and dim
Alone at last on a darkened drive
My heart for you, in a jar so thin
Perhaps soon we'll meet again
Where we shall tangle fingerti
